Original March 1933 Roosevelt Presidential Inauguration 48 Star US Flag 7x11

Description

This 7” X 11” 48 star USA flag was waved by 4 year old Susanna Chaney on the Senate steps in Washington D.C. at the inauguration of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on March 4, 1933. It is an estate item which was stored in a barn for years and is dirty. It has not been cleaned or messed with. This history is documented on the flag pole itself in ink hand writing. Pole is 25 1/2” long and is original. Flag is partially detached from pole. This is a rare piece of American history.
